ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the mother of one K. Saranya, aged about 16 years. Her Date of Birth is 02.12.2000. According to the petitioner, K. Saranya was found missing from 03.02.2017 onwards.

Today, when the petition has been taken up for hearing, the detenue was produced by the first respondent. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions from the first respondent, submitted that the detenue K. Saranya was kidnapped by the second respondent, married and sexually exploited. He also submitted that the second respondent was arrested and later released on bail. So far the detenue is concerned, she has been rescued on 04.02.2017 and was produced before the District Child Welfare Committee, who, in turn, ordered to keep the detenue in Home. 3.
The above statement is recorded. The child Saranya told us that she was taken by the second respondent, married her in a temple at Bangalore and had sexual intercourse and later she has been secured by the police.

Since by means of an order passed by the District Child Welfare
Committee, the detenue is kept in the Home, regarding further custody of the detenue, the same has to be passed by the District Child Welfare Committee. With the above observation, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
