Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2024.

3. According to the petitioner, he has given a representation dated 12.02.2024 to the second respondent, seeking for issuance of Patta in his favour. Since the second respondent has not considered the same so far, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has not made the application Page Nos.2/5

through online and he has not paid requisite fees for the same.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has not made the application through online seeking to issue Patta in respect of the subject property and he has also not paid the requisite fees for the same. Since the petitioner has not followed the prevailing practice as on date in the State, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

7. The writ petition is dismissed, accordingly. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs.
