O R D E R

The petitioners herein who had purchased the property in the year 2020 have a grievance that at the behest of some local bigwigs, the police is harassing and therefore, seeks direction not to harass the petitioner in connection with the property which she has purchased.

2. The Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners referring the G.O.Ms.No.104 of the Pondicherry Government issued on 16.11.2007 would submit that the civil dispute has to be considered by the Committee constituted under the said Government Order. Whereas, the police is interfering with his peaceful possession and harassing.

3. However, the Writ Petition is bereft of particulars on whose behest the police is harassing. More particularly, when the Additional Public Prosecutor for the Pondicherry Government states that the representation of the petitioner was considered and it has been closed. Since, the matter is purely civil in nature, there is no further necessity for the police to act upon her representation and also there is no harassment to the petitioner as alleged.
