O R D E R

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the application dated 07.10.2016, within a time frame. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that inspite of the petitioners' representation dated 07.10.2016, for the issuance of patta, the respondent has not passed any order so far.

4.Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' application dated 07.10.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioners' application dated 07.10.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
