This writ petition has been filed questioning the show-cause notice vide

Memo Mno.M-II/HR/DA CELL/ 552/1422/2013-604 dated 05.10.2015.

2. This court, while entertaining the writ petition, granted stayed of the operation of the impugned memo and by virtue of the same, the petitioner continued in service and is reported to have died on 28.04.2023. In view of the same, the entire disciplinary proceedings stood abated.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, consequent upon the demise of the sole petitioner, all the terminal benefits payable to the petitioner were paid to the family members and the writ petition need not be examined on merits.

4. In the light of the above, the writ petition is closed as having become infructuous as well as in the ground that the same is abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed. 29.10.2024 skr Index : Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order
