The prayer sought for in the present petition is to call for the records of the case proceedings in C.C.No.3 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mannargudi and quash the same.

2. Heard, Mr.R.Thanjan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. This Court is not satisfied with the grounds raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner touching upon the facts of the case for quashing the charge sheet and this Court refrains from giving any reasonings, since it may have a bearing on the trial. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.

However, taking into account that the case is pending from the year 2017 itself, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mannargudi, to expedite the trial and complete the same as expeditiously as possible.
