ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of her appeal dated 09.12.2025. The petitioner is a senior citizen and she has filed the aforesaid appeal under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, before the first respondent.

2. Mrs.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 2 to 4, notice to them in this writ petition is dispensed with.

3. No prejudice will be caused to the first respondent, if the aforesaid appeal of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections from the respondents 2 to 4, and by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 09.12.2025 submitted under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, after hearing the objections from the respondents 2 to 4, and after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the respective parties, and

also by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs. 06-03-2026 RKM To The District Collector, Chennai District.
