ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out. We have heard Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 5; Mrs.P.Veena Suresh, learned counsel for respondent No.2; Mr.Manibharathi, learned counsel for respondent No.3; Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, assisted by Mr.M.Sylvester John, learned counsel for respondent No.4; and, Mr.K.C.Krishnamoorthy, learned counsel for respondent No.6.
2. Learned counsel for the Corporation submits that, in June, 2019, one encroached temple was removed and two temples are remaining. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the same could not be
removed. Fresh process would be initiated for removal of those two encroached temples.
3. On 10.11.2023 when the matter was called, none appeared for the petitioner. The matter was adjourned to 11.01.2024. Today also none appears for the petitioner.
4. As none appears for the petitioner and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the Corporation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. (S.V.G., CJ.) (D.B.C., J.) 11.01.2024 Index :
