When the Contempt Petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent had complied with the direction of this Court made in W.P.No.17122 of 2017, by passing an order dated 22.03.2018.

2. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, I do not find any reason to keep the Contempt Petition pending. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved over the order dated 22.03.2018, passed by the respondent, it is open to him to challenge the order in accordance with law. No costs.
