The prayer sought in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to restore the bunk shop at Shop No.44, EB Link Road, Anna Salai, Chennai-2 and permit the petitioner to carry on the said business by considering his representation dated 01.03.2019.

2. Since Anna Salai has already been declared to be a Non-Vending Zone by the Town Vending Committee of the Chennai Corporation, the prayer sought for in this writ petition to restore the bunk shop, which has already been removed by the Chennai Corporation to the same location i.e., No.44, EB Link Road, Anna Salai, Chennai-2, cannot be considered and granted. 2/4

3. In that view of the matter, this writ petition deserves to be dismissed and accordingly, dismissed. However, there is no order as to costs. Connected W.M.P. is closed.
