ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the body of the detenue Pavithra, aged about 19 years, who is illegally detained by the third respondent, before this Court and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Pavithra, aged about 19 years, went missing on 14.02.2020 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her. 3.Today, Mr.V.Ravikumar, Sub Inspector of Police, Kunnam Police Station, Perambalur District is present. Today, Ranjith (third respondent) and Pavithra are also present. 4.When enquired by us, Pavithra stated that her date of birth is 09.01.2001 and that she was in love with the third respondent, which was not agreeable to her parents and therefore, she eloped with him and got married to him on 14.02.2020 and that she wants to be with her husband. Since Pavithra is not in the illegal custody of anyone, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
