Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25/1/2021 and consequently, direct the fourth respondent to give permission to the petitioner for operating mini bus bearing Registration No.TN32X-6796 through another alternate route via Tholmandi and Amman Nagar to Rayarpalayam covering distance of 2.5 Kms.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 25/1/2021 and consequently, direct the fourth respondent to give permission to the petitioner, for operating mini bus bearing Registration No.TN32X-6796, through another alternate route via Tholmandi and Amman Nagar to Rayarpalayam covering distance of 2.5 Kms.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is operating https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

a mini bus bearing Registration No.TN32X-6796 in the route Chinnasalem to Nayinarpalayam. Since, stagnation of rain water is present in the route Rayarpalayam via Tholmand and camp, minibus is unable to pass through. Hence the petitioner had sent a representation, dated 25/1/2021, to the respondents 1 to 3. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition praying for the relief as stated supra.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents 1 to 3, to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 25/1/2021, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.

No costs.

Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
