O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent Police to transfer the investigation in Crime No.213 of 2022 on the file of the third respondent to any other investigation agency and consequently direct them to proceed with the investigation.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent was appointed to investigate the case. Therefore, at this stage, transferring the investigation from the file of the third respondent to any other investigation agency would affect the entire investigation done by the third respondent.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 213 of 2022 from the file of the third respondent to any other investigation agency.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the third respondent and shall ensure that the third respondent complies with the directions issued by this Court. 18.02.2025 Index:Yes/No kv To
