Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/Police submitted that investigation in Crime No.270 of 2013 was completed and final report was filed before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional CCB CBCID Court, Egmore, Chennai and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.2937 of 2024.

3. Since the respondent/Police has completed the investigation and filed the charge sheet before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
