ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider his representation dated 30.09.2020 for issuance of patta in respect of 2/3rd share of land out of 0.133.5 Hectares comprised in Punja Survey No.223/1 at Puthagaram Village, Natrampalli Taluk, Tirupattur District.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the request for issuance of patta was made on 30.09.2020, no action has been taken on the same till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Today, when the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that now, the Tahsildar, Tirupattur Taluk, has fixed a date for enquiry on 12.04.2021 and on completion of the enquiry, the Tahsildar will pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible.

4. In the result, this writ petition is disposed of recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.09.2020 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of four weeks from the date of completion of enquiry.
