O R D E R
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 29.01.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Mr. Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's father had executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Survey no.16/1 measuring to an extent of 1936 Sq.ft. When the said settlement deed was placed before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent had refused to register the same on the basis of an objection letter dated 20.06.2019 received from Assistant Commissioner, HR and CE, Cheyyar vide Refusal Check Slip issued by the 2nd respondent, against which the petitioner had preferred an appeal before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
1st respondent. However, till dat,e the same, has not been considered. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on the either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner which was filed against the order of the 2nd respondent and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid direction. No Costs.
