Respondents [R3 impleaded suo motu by order dated 6.5.2015] Prayer: Writ Petition is filed to issue a writ of mandamus, or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of writ directing the respondents [i] set up adequate number of counters for enquiry in the 2nd respondent premises on the date of publishing the results of XII and X Std. (ii) for display boards directing the parents to the counters of their requirement (iii) to issue proper acknowledgement for receipt of original mark sheets when applied for corrections in mark sheets (iv) to set up specific section to receive the complaints and redress the grievances of the parents by following the procedures.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed in the nature of a writ of mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to direct the respondents [i] to set up adequate number of counters for enquiry in the 2nd respondent premises on the date of publishing the results of

Std. XII and Std. X, (ii) to fix display boards enabling the parents to approach the counter for their requirement, (iii) to issue proper acknowledgement for receipt of original mark sheets when it is applied for corrections in the mark sheets, and (iv) to set up specific section to receive the complaints and redress the grievances of the parents by following the procedures.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that the first three reliefs sought for by the petitioner, viz., [i] to set up adequate number of counters for enquiry in the 2nd respondent premises on the date of publishing the results of Std. XII and Std. X, (ii) to fix display boards enabling the parents to approach the counter for their requirement, (iii) to issue proper acknowledgement for receipt of original mark sheets when it is applied for corrections in the mark sheets, will be complied with by the respondents, to the maximum extent possible. As far as the 4th relief sought for by the petitioner is concerned, viz., (iv) to set up specific section to receive the complaints and redress the grievances of the parents by following the procedures, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that a specific Section exists to take care of the said request. The said submission is recorded.

4. In these circumstances, we find it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, directing the respondents to implement above said requirements and publish the same in the media, by making it known to the general public, parents, students, etc. No order as to costs.
