ORDER
The petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.06.2025 seeking police protection to fence the petitioner's land. Since no action has been taken, the present petition has been filed.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that he owns property measuring an extent of 88 1/2 cents in Survey Nos.136/2 and 136/10, situated at Unguranahalli Village, Dharmapuri Taluk and District. The petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the said property and the revenue records also stand in his name. Since the petitioner's land has been damaged due to the grazing of cattle, he attempted to put up fencing. However, some people in the village obstructed the work. As a result, the petitioner is unable to continue his agricultural activities.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's complaint is bereft of particulars, such as when the obstruction occurred, who caused the obstruction, and on what grounds such objections were made. It was further submitted that if the petitioner appears before the third respondent along with the supporting document, his representation would be considered and appropriate action would be taken.
4. Considering the above submissions, this court directs the petitioner to appear before the third respondent on 28.03.2026 along with a copy of the complaint and supporting documents. Upon such appearance, the Police shall take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the rival parties, if any.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 16-03-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order PVS To
