ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the enquiry notice dated 26.02.2025. By the said notice, it was informed that the enquiry will take place on 03.03.2025, that is today.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the notice is a short notice. Even the petitioner did not individually get the notice on hand. It is likely that many other people also did not receive adequate notice. Even in the case of the petitioner, he travelled to Jaipur and came back only yesterday. Therefore, he submits that there is no grave urgency to proceed with the enquiry in such a hasty manner. For those of the persons, who are unable to attend today, atleast one more opportunity should be given to them.

3. Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Waqf Board would submit that apart from the fact that the notice was sent by

post, all the 45 persons have mobile number and they were also duly served the notice through whatsapp messages. Everybody has been informed duly and majority of them are also present there for the enquiry.

4. In view thereof, when the petitioner is now present in Chennai for filing a Writ Petition and when the petitioner is in a position to attend the meeting he can very well do the same. The petitioner need not plead the case for others. If any other person complains that he has not been served with the notice, then it is for the said person to raise the grievance and the petitioner cannot raise the grievance for others. Since the impugned order is only an enquiry notice, it is also possible for the petitioner to participate in the enquiry, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the associated miscellaneous petitions are closed.
