Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to disburse the admitted dues amounting to Rs.1,52,15,700/-(Rupees one crore fifty two lakhs fifteen thousand seven hundred only) being the sum lawfully due to the petitioner.

ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Mandamus directing the respondent to disburse the admitted dues amounting to Rs.1,52,15,700/- payable to the petitioner by the Municipality.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent Municipality would submit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the claim of the petitioner was enquired and the same was rejected by the Municipality vide order dated 21.06.2021.

3. Therefore, in view of the aforesaid order passed by the respondent Municipality, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Therefore, the same is closed. No costs. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, he is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law before the appropriate forum, if he is so advised.

4.The learned Government Advocate is directed to furnish a copy of this order to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
