O R D E R

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 4 and 5 to consider his representation dated 30.03.2017 and reminder dated 17.07.2017 to measure the land in Survey Nos.126/2A, 126/2C, measuring an extent of 3.90 arcs, situated in Navakuruchi Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District, as per the revenue records.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given a representation as early as on 30.03.2017. The respondents 4 and 5 have not surveyed the land so far. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner has already paid the necessary charges for surveying and fixing the boundaries, in respect of his land.

4.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that respondents 4 and 5 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law. 5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2017 for surveying and fixing the boundaries of his land and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
