Respondents Prayer: This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of Mandamus, (a) to explain (to this Court) their topsy-turvy conduct in dealing with the petitioner's representations dated 13.06.2014, 12.03.2015 & direct them to act lawfully, vis-a-vis the same, besides, (b) Permitting the petitioner to stay with petitioner's wife & mother, & to immediately grant the petitioner 3 lakhs from his GPF, his 2 months salary (Nov-Dec2014), and his April 2015 salary, for the cancer treatment of his wife.

ORDER

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Though the writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of a Mandamus, to explain as to why his representations dated 13.06.2014, 12.03.2015 has not been considered and also sought for permission to stay with his wife & mother and also for sanction of Rs. 3 lakhs from his GPF two months salary (Nov-Dec2014), and his April 2015 salary, for the cancer treatment of his wife, Mr.Manikandan Vathan Chettiar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that respondents may be directed to consider the plight of the petitioner as his wife is suffering with cancer (terminal stage) and therefore, he should be permitted to stay with her at the place where his family is residing. The learned counsel also submitted that the petitioner has got medical certificate in support of his contentions with regard to the health condition of his wife.

3. Heard Mr.Manikandan Vathan Chettiar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Govt. Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the contentions raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner in this writ petition, I only direct the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the authority concerned seeking for transfer to the place at which the petitioner's wife, who is said to be suffering with cancer of terminal stage, is residing, within a period of one week from today. If any such representation is made along with supportive materials, it is for the respondents more particularly, the first respondent to consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
