O R D E R

The petition is to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.440 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 420, 406 and 506(2) of I.P.C. 2.Admittedly, the petitioner and the second respondent/defacto complainant are close relatives.

3.Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsels for the petitioner and the second respondent submitted that parties have arrived at a settlement and the second respondent has decided to withdraw the allegations in the FIR and prayed for quashing of the final report on the basis of the compromise.

4.Both the parties are present today and have signed the Joint Memo of Compromise along with their learned counsels. The said Joint Memo of Compromise is taken on record. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, there would be no useful purpose in keeping the proceedings on the file of the 1st respondent 2/4

Police pending. Hence, the impugned F.I.R is quashed. 5.With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
