O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 18.07.2017 passed in W.P.No.1963 of 2017, the retirement benefits due to the petitioner had been paid. However, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the interest alone has to be paid.

2. This Court is of the opinion that the order passed by this Court in respect of retirement and pension benefit has been complied with and therefore, in respect of interest, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation to the respondent and in the event of any such representation, the respondent is at liberty to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.

3. With these observations, the Contempt Application stands closed. No costs.
