PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2021 and directing the 3rd respondent to cancel the sub division in Survey No.132/7A, 132/7B and 132/7C at Pottanam Village, Sendamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District and to cancel the patta No.1020 in Survey No.132/7B and to carry out necessary corrections in FMB sketch in Survey No.132/7 and to issue a new patta in Survey No.132/7 at Pottanam Village, Sendamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District, as per the sale deed No.891/2004 dated 17.05.2004. ORDER

With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The limited prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to the third respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2021, wherein the petitioner had sought for cancellation of the sub division in Survey Nos.132/7A, 132/7B and 132/7C at Pottanam Village, Sendamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District and to

cancel the patta No.1020 in Survey No.132/7B, carry out the necessary corrections in FMB sketch and to issue a new patta.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that pursuant to the petitioner's representation, the Revenue Divisional Officer had issued summons for an enquiry and the petitioner has also participated in the enquiry. As such, what remains is finalization of the enquiry proceedings.

4. In this background, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent herein to conclude the enquiry proceedings initiated, pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2021, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
