PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in No.74/BCDFGISSSV/2025 dated 10.02.2025 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenue, namely MADHANKUMAR S/o.Gunalan, aged 37 years, as GOONDA, now he is confined in Central prison, Puzhal II, Chennai before this court and set him at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1437, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 20.03.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
