Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to incorporate petitioners' names in the joint patta by replacing the vendors name in patta Nos.727 and 728 in corresponding Re Survey Numbers 540/5, 541/2 in Manakadavu village, Dharapuram taluk, Tiruppur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2015 by appreciating the above stated facts. O R D E R

The petitioners are said to have purchased property in R.S.No. 540/5, 541/2 in Manakadavu village, Dharapuram taluk, Tiruppur District. Seeking issuance of a joint patta in respect of the said property by replacing the names of the vendors in patta Nos.727 and 728, a representation was made by the petitioners on 15.09.2015 and thereafter, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts of the case, without going into the merits of the same, respondent No.3 is directed to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation, dated 15.9.2015 made by the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the third parties in whose names, the pattas stand as of now.

The Writ Petition is disposed of on the above direction. No costs. Usk 16.11.2015
