ORDER

(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) The present habeas corpus petition has been preferred by the petitioner challenging the detention order dated 16.02.2018 passed by the second respondent in and by which the second respondent detained the detenu, Janaki W/o Prakash aged 30 years branding her as a 'Bootlegger' under Section 3 (1) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 with a view to preventing her from acting prejudicial to the interest of public health and public order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submit that the detention order impugned above has been revoked by the Government. A copy of the order of revocation in G.O. Rt. No.1234, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XV) Dept., dated 02.04.2018 is produced before this Court.

3. Recording the said revocation, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and, accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
