Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2013 in the light of the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.1484 of 2006, dated 12.07.2011 to extend the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.321, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 2nd July 1998 and to fix Scale of Pay from the date of appointment and disburse the calculated arrears of difference of pay within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.S.Balakarthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, she is similarly situated like the petitioner in W.P.(MD) No.1484 of 2006 and the said writ petition was allowed on 12.07.2011 extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.321, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 02.07.1998. The petitioner made a representation dated 20.11.2013 seeking extension of benefit as given to the petitioner in W.P.(MD) No.1484 of 2006.

The grievance of the petitioner is that her representation is not yet disposed of.

4. In view of the limited scope of prayer made, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 20.11.2013, in the light of the order of this Court dated 12.07.2011 made in W.P.(MD) No.1484 of 2006 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
