This Court, vide order dated 04.07.2023, has directed the Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court, Chennai-104, to dispose of I.D.No.124 of 2002 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and allowed the above said writ petitions.

2. This being so, after a lapse of seven months, the Presiding Officer, Principal Labour Court, Chennai, has written a letter to the Registrar General of this Court vide Dis.No.152, dated 05.02.2024, seeking extension of time in order to comply with the order passed by this Court dated 04.07.2023, which is not appreciated by this Court. However, considering the reasons stated in the letter, this Court is inclined to grant six months extension to dispose of I.D.No.124 of 2002, as directed by this Court order dated 04.07.2023.
