O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the name of the death person in the Voter's List by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2018.

The case of the petitioner is that he claims to be one of the contesting candidates for the post of Board of Directors of K.274, Uthukuli Primary Agricultural Co-operative Society Limited. He has given a representation dated 6.4.2018 to the 1st respondent, marking copies to the respondents 2 and 3 to identify and remove all the dead persons so that no https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

impersonation would be taken place at the time of holding free and fair election.

Mr.M.S.Palanisamy, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the 1st respondent submitted that the petitioner has not made any representation either to the District Election Officer or to the Society.

Heard Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. 5.

Since the petitioner does not make any representation to the necessary parties, this Court is not able to issue any direction to the necessary parties. However, the petitioner has given liberty to present appropriate representation mentioning who are all the dead persons and whose names should be removed from the impugned Voters List to the necessary parties. 6.

With the above Observation, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
