Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that no orders have been passed by the first respondent on his review petition dated 20.11.2020 preferred against the punishment imposed by the first respondent vide G.O.2(D) No.228, Home (Pol.2) Department, dated 29.09.2020.

3.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.Considering the limited prayer, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is given to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's review petition dated 20.11.2020 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
