This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to register a case against the culprits based on the petitioner's complaint dated 23.06.2016 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State submitted that on the petitioner's complaint dated 23.06.2016, petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.104 of 2016.

On a reading of the petitioner's complaint, the dispute essentially appears to be civil in nature. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the police to register an F.I.R.
