PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India directing the respondents to release and sanction the sum of Rs.2,00,00,000/- (Rupees Two Crores only) as announced in the Budget Speech dated 20.03.2023 for the financial year 2023-2024 and confirmed in G.O. Ms. No.26 dated 26.04.2023 towards renovation and development works of Nagore Dargah. For Petitioner:

ORDER
By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to release and sanction the sum of Rs.2,00,00,000/- (Rupees Two Crores only) as announced in the Budget Speech dated 20.03.2023 for the financial year 20232024 and confirmed in G.O.Ms. No.26 dated 26.04.2023 towards renovation and development works of Nagore Dargah.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the President of Nagore Dargah, during the Annual Budget Speech dated 20.03.2023 for the year 2023-2024, the announcement was made that the annual grant for repair and renovation of mosques and dargahs has been increased from 6 crore to 10 crore in the current year. Pursuant to the budget announcement, Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.26 dated 26.04.2023 was issued by the Backward Classes, Most
Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department confirming sanctioning of Rs.2 crores, however, the same is not released. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 07.07.2025, however, the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, the writ petition.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the government Order in G.O.Ms.No.26 dated 26.04.2023 will be implemented within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.
6. In view of the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the respondents to implement to the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.26 dated 26.04.2023 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
