Respondents PRAYER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to cancel the ration card issued to respondent 3 to 5 which was forged using petitioner's address considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2016, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Hon'ble court.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner to cancel the ration card issued to respondents 3 to 4, which was forged using petitioner's address.

2. In this regard, the respondents are bound to consider if any forgery has been committed in respect of the address for the purpose of obtaining the ration card. If any such forgery is committed by any person, appropriate actions are to be initiated.

3. Accordingly, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2016 and initiate appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
