ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a stamp vendor on the basis of the selection, which was conducted on 25.02.2021 based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2021.

Heard Mr.P.Ganesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was selected as a stamp vendor on 25.02.2021 by the respondents. However, according to him, thereafter, Stamp vendor licence was not issued in his favour. In such circumstances, he has given a representation on 17.03.2021 to the respondents requesting them to implement the selection finalised on 25.02.2021. Since the representation was not considered, this Writ Petition has been filed.

On instructions, Mr.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, would submit that the respondents are willing to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law. 5.
After recording the said statement, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2021 requesting the respondents to implement the selection of stamp vendor, which was finalised by the respondents on 25.02.2021 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
