PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th Respondent not to harass the petitioner appreciating the facts and circumstances of the case by considering his representation dated 24.03.2021.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent Police not to harass the petitioner by considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 24.03.2021. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that the nature of the dispute involved in this case is a money dispute, it is for the parties to redress the same before the appropriate Civil Court and the respondent police will have no role to play in a case of this nature.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police not to interfere with the money dispute and it is open for the parties to agitate their rights before the competent civil court. No costs.
