ORDER

This criminal revision has been filed against the order of the dismissal of the discharge petition, by the Sessions Mahilar court, Fast Track Mahila Court, Erode, in Crl.MP.No.83/2016 in S.C.No.23/2016 dated 20.04.2016. 2.This Court heard both sides.

3.When the matter was taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there was no stay and subsequently, the trial court had framed the charges and examination of witnesses have commenced. He would further submit that the trial court is awaiting records from this Court for further progress. Since, charges have been framed, the criminal revision petition is dismissed, as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

4.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the trial court may be directed to conclude trial as expeditiously as possible. The trial court is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No.23/2016 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
