This petition has been filed to issue directions to the respondent police to register his complaint dated 25.02.2016 investigate, enquire into it thoroughly and to proceed against the accused in accordance with law in respect of the threat to his life as well as to his family members and property; consequently to file a final report before the Judicial Magistrate.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint dated 25.02.2016 given by the petitioner has been closed by the respondent police on the undertaking letter given by the petitioner to the opposite party.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the opposite party is a powerful politician and that the petition was closed by the respondent police despite the decree in favour of the petitioner in O.S.No.156 of 2012. Under such circumstances, the respondent police shall re-open the enquiry and call both the parties and take action in accordance with law on the complaint dated 25.02.2016 given by the petitioner. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
