ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.Subramanian J.) It is a very unfortunate case where the Judiciary has chosen to misinterpret our order. By our order dated 12.02.2025, we had only injuncted the Judiciary from making any temporary appointments in future. Taking advantage of the said order, it appears that the Principal District Judge, Vellore, has chosen to terminate those persons who were working as Computer Operators in the Courts in Vellore. This we deem it as very unfortunate.

2. We have no hesitation to quash the orders of the Principal District Judge,Vellore, dated 28.02.2025 terminating the three Computer Operators, who were admittedly appointed prior to 12.02.2025. Therefore, the orders dated 28.02.2025 issued by the Principal District Judge, Vellore are quashed and with a direction to continue the employment of the three Computer Operators as temporary staff.

3. It is made clear that no temporary staff appointed shall be disengaged on the basis of our order in future. If any disengagement happens, the same will be taken as wilful disobedience of our orders by the concerned District Judge.
