2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police. 3.On a reading of a complaint given by the petitioners, it is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seen that the petitioners had entered into a building contract with the opposite party, in which a sum of Rs.16,00,000/- in Crl OP.16979 of 2015 and a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- in Crl OP.16980 of 2015, is due. 4.The complaint essentially appears to be contractual in nature and therefore, no positive direction can be given to the respondent Police to register an FIR. Hence, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies in the manner known to law.
