ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Asst. Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, to file a final report in Crime No.123 of 2014 dated 15.08.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms.M.R.Manjula, Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Team - 26, is present before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that six months time is required to complete the investigation as some more documents has to be secured from the Revenue Authorities.

5. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.123 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report as the case may be.
