This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to initiate criminal proceedings against the respondents 5 to 7 who were https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the then President, Ex-President and Ex-Secretary of Elangadu Village Panchayat for having involved in misappropriation of Village Panchayat Fund Account and Government Funds. 2.
When the matter is called, Mr.A.Kumar, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.G.Mutharasu, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 4 and 7 submitted that the prayer of the petitioner has already been considered by conducting an enquiry and finally, the 7th respondent was found guilty and stoppage of increment for a period of two years with cumulative effect was imposed against the said Murugaiyan, Ex-Secretary of Elangadu Village Panchayat, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. Therefore, nothing survives in the Writ Petition. 3.
In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
