..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 19.03.2021 made by the petitioenr and to provide escort enabling the petitioner's father Karunanidhi @ Karuna, son of Manokaran, aged about 55 years, Life Convict, Ct.No.15157, now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore, to avail of leave already granted by the respondent 1 to him.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] On 26.04.2021, this Court passed the following order: "On 20.04.2021, this Court passed the following order:
"The Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore/2nd respondent, is directed to provide necessary escort to the petitioner (sic petitioner's father), immediately, to avail the emergency leave that has been granted by the prison authorities.

Post for reporting compliance on 26.04.2021."
2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing,t he learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, the Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore, has provided the necessary escort to the detenu and accordingly, the detenu went on leave from 22.04.2021 and he should return to the prison on 29.04.2021.
Post "for reporting further compliance" on 30.04.2021."

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenu was brought back to the prison on 29.04.2021.
