ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to release the Lorry bearing Registration No.TN 52 6133 seized on 01.04.2016 by the respondent to him.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's lorry bearing Registration No.TN 52 6133 was seized by the respondent on 01.04.2015 and that on the same day, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent for the release of the vehicle, however, the petitioner's representation was to considered by the respondent sofar.

3. Mr.M.Anantha Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 01.04.2015 within a stipulated time.

4. Mr.M.S.Ramesh learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the petitioner may be directed to submit one more representation to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent and on receipt of the same, the respondent may be directed to consider the same, within a stipulated time.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten days thereafter.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
