This writ petition came up for consideration on 23.10.2024 and 13.11.2024. On both the occasions, the matter was adjourned at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner. However, when the matter was listed on 19.11.2024 and 03.12.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal".
2. Today, inspite of the matter being listed under the caption "For Dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner. In the circumstances, this court is left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. 09.12.2024 skr
