O R D E R

Heard Mr.M.K.Kabir, learned Senior Counsel, assisted by Mr.S.S.Swaminathan, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent.

This Contempt Petition has been filed, alleging wilful disobedience of the order and direction issued by this Court, in W.P.No.37722 of 2015, dated 11.12.2015.

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that, after the filing of the Contempt Petition, hearing was fixed, and on 07.09.2016, representative of the petitioner had appeared, and this has not been intimated.

The learned Special Government Pleader submits that, on 07.09.2016, the Director of the petitioner did not appear, and the person, who appeared was not well-versed with the facts. Therefore, the Secretary to Government has adjourned the personal hearing to 23.09.2016, and intimation will be given shortly.

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear either through their Director, or any other authorized representative, who is well-versed with the facts, on the next hearing date.

With the above observation, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
