ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to conduct an enquiry into the fraudulent registration of the Sale Deed dated 13.02.1981, registered as Document No.333 of 1981 in SRO, Kadayanallur, and subsequently to cancel the said Sale Deed. 2.
It is well-settled law that the cancellation of a registered sale deed has to be pursued before a competent civil court. Moreover, a Division Bench of this Court has already struck down Section 77-A of the Registration Act, which had conferred powers on the District Registrar to cancel the registration of fraudulent documents. In view of the same, this Court cannot issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. 3.
