ORDER
Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writs of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 12.06.2017 and to allot a Petty Shop/Bunk Shop in and around Chennai City, so as to enable him to do a small business and to take care of himself and his family.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a physically handicapped person and therefore, he has given a representation on 12.06.2017 to the 2nd respondent to allot a Bunk Shop in and around Chennai for running a business. However, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2017, in accordance with law.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.06,2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
