Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus directing to call for the list of successful candidates in the preliminary examination published on 18.05.2012 by the second respondent who have been called for the main written examination for Group-I Services examination notified by the Advertisement No.257, dated 29.12.2010 and the consequential list of the 2nd respondent candidates successfully in the main written examination who have been called for the oral interview published on 10.01.

2013 and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent Commission to prepare a fresh list of candidates for the preliminary examination and main written examination after applying the reservation as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Rajesh Kumar Daria Vs Rajasthan Public Service Commission reported in (2007) 8 SCC 785 for women and persons who studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM) in a horizontal manner i.e., interlocking them with communal reservations as laid down and consequently direct the second respondent commission to conduct a special main examination for the petitioners if they find place in the fresh list of candidates and consequently conduct an oral interview if found qualified.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that in the absence of interim order, the writ petition has become infructuous, and otherwise also, a period of ten years has already passed after the selection.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed as rendered infructuous. No costs. Consequently, M.P.Nos.1 to 4 of 2013 are also dismissed.
